Here is your invitation to make history!!!

Please join Military Families Speak Out, Veterans For Peace and Vietnam Veterans Against the War /OSS as we form a solemn procession on the National Mall November 11, 2018 on the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day.

We plan to gather and walk solemnly to the Memorials. Everyone is invited to participate!

Veterans - Wear something that represents your veteran status. You will lead the procession.

All others - Wear all black to symbolize mourning of all things lost to war.

Gold Star family members - Any one that has lost a loved one to war. We do not differentiate between active duty and those whose loss was suicide from the hidden wounds after separating from the military. GSF members are encouraged to carry an 8X10 photo of your loved one and if comfortable, their folded flag.

Those GSF members that are not able to attend but would like their loved one represented may send an 8X10 photo and a short biography and a volunteer will respectfully carry your story.
Send photo and bio to:
Marcia Westbrook
814 Victoria Ave.
Williamstown, WV 26187

All forms of collateral damage of war will be represented. Some with pictures and some with words. Please send your suggestions this page.

We will quietly walk but deliver a powerful message for those that no longer have a voice. Twenty Veterans will be carrying signs telling the story of the 20 a day lost to suicide.

There will be areas along they way where speakers will be heard. Please put this historic day in your calendar and remind the world that Armistice Day was about PEACE.
