On Monday, December 2, 2019, 6:30 p.m., join Vendedores Unidos (Vendors United) and Many Languages One Voice community members fighting for safe streets, safe schools, and a way to do their important work free from police violence. While Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs is holding vendors hostage with a moratorium on permits that are affordable and accessible, vendors’ important work is criminalized and our families and children have been terrorized and harmed.

Thanks to a swift and rapid response from community members and allies who joined the family that evening and the very next day, we joined forces to help keep Ana, Genesis, and Angel together.
Flooding our communities with more police is not the answer!
Councilmember Brianne Nadeau and Metro Police District 3 & 4 Commanders have been invited. Commander Randy Griffin, MPD District 4 Commander, where police hurt one of our children, has confirmed. Come help us hold them accountable and call for Emergency legislation to protect our families!
Childcare and a snack will be provided. Call Megan at 618-722-8880 for more information, or email at email@example.com
