Greenbelt Climate Action Network
A Just Transition from Coal in Maryland
Wed, Sept 11, 7-9 pm
Greenbelt Community Center, Room 114
15 Crescent Rd, Greenbelt, MD 20770

Come join us for a conversation with Matt Dernoga about Maryland's six remaining coal fired power plants. We will discuss their impacts on public health and the climate, and how we can lead the way in Maryland with a just transition to clean energy. Yes, we want to close the power plants, but we must also consider the career paths of the workers who will lose their jobs.

Matt Dernoga is the Maryland Sierra Club's Beyond Coal Representative

As always, we will use the last portion of the evening for announcements and updates on local and national issues we are following.
