Building bipartisan support for climate action, from blue to red and everywhere in between.
Why come to Washington, D.C. this November?
Support is growing in Congress for the Energy Innovation Act. That’s thanks to 150,000+ CCL supporters, who repeatedly ask their members of Congress for meaningful climate action. To move this big climate change solution forward, a group of ordinary people will head to Washington, D.C. from all over the U.S. to ask Congress for more support. Can you join us?
Our lobby days in Washington D.C. make a big impression on Congress – there’s no substitute for a group of constituents speaking from the heart to reach even the most seasoned member of Congress. Lobby Days are the culmination of the work that goes on in local chapters and by individuals during the year. Each local meeting, tabling event, letter to the editor and tweet helps set up a successful meeting.
Never been to Capitol Hill? It’s an empowering experience to meet with members of Congress and their staff and to ask them for their support of this climate solution. You’ll have plenty of help – training, pre-scheduled appointments with Congressional offices, and the support of a team.
We hope to see you in D.C.!
